Arts & Culture
Environmental Action
En2action is engaged by community based organizations (CBOs) and environmental agencies to help address air quality improvement, advance adaptation strategies, and promote cleaner energy options in Southeast San Francisco.
Bayview-Hunters Point Community Emission Reduction Plan

En2action (E2A) facilitates the development of a community meeting strategy and to provide culturally relevant programming and mediation services in partnership with the Bay Area Air Quality Management District (Air District), the Marie Harrison Community Foundation, and the Bayview Hunters Point Community Advocates.

En2action is leading the establishment of an ongoing meeting framework for the Community Steering Committee and to support the development of a Community Emissions Reduction Plan (CERP), effectively reducing pollution and respiratory/cancer illnesses over the next few years.
Electronic Vehicle (EV) Charging Station

En2action and SF Environment are meeting with the Bayview-Hunters Point community to discuss removing barriers to electric vehicle ownership and to determine community preference for the placement of an electric vehicle charging plaza.

En2action is leading the outreach strategy in partnership with Strategies 360 on behalf of SF Environment, providing culturally relevant survey outreach services to identify community concerns and gather robust input and feedback from BVHP residents.
Yosemite Slough

The Yosemite Slough Adaptation Plan (“the Plan”) aspires to eliminate the disparity in adaptation planning between Bayview Hunter’s Point (“the Bayview”) and the rest of San Francisco’s urban waterfront. With adaptation planning along the entire waterfront, the communities, assets, and buildings will be protected from the same level of sea level rise, 3 to 7 feet by 2100.

The Plan aims to develop equitable climate adaptation strategies and position a community-based adaptation plan for broad investment. The Plan will build upon En2action's experience in adaptation planning and the community’s capacity.
