RALLY Coalition
-
En2action has been a vital community partner of the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank since 2022, providing survey administration and focus group facilitation with CBOs in Marin to identify barriers communities in Marin/San Rafael experience when applying for CalFresh/EBT.
-
Through this collaboration, En2action and the SF Marin Food Bank were able to analyze over 300 surveys to develop a Peer Leadership report containing strategies that the RALLY partners can use to increase the CalFresh sign-up rate.

Foodways Initiative
-
Inspired by the work of the Food Bank of the Rockies, the Foodways Collaborative brought together 8 organizations to amplify first-voice participant feedback. These efforts resulted in a collaborative report that will inform food sourcing and strategic decisions to ensure our communities have access to quality and culturally appropriate food options.

-
En2action supports each organization in the Foodways Collaborative with guidance via 30-minute weekly check-ins to discuss materials and language to ensure steady progress towards the 75-100 survey and effective Focus Group facilitation objectives.

Foodwise
-
Foodwise farmers markets are vital food access points, where small farmers and food businesses can thrive and thousands of Bay Area residents can learn, share, and build community through fresh local food.

-
En2action partners with Foodwise to help emerging food entrepreneurs from the Ujamaa Kitchen program gain valuable vending opportunities at the Ferry Plaza markets held three times a week year round.
Previous Projects & Events
Bayview Bistro
En2action activated a lot that was awaiting housing development at Third & Hudson Streets in the Bayview. The property owner provided the space for free and with a grant from SFPUC’s SIP program, En2action created a rotating pop up of two - three vendors at a time, four days per week. The pop up operated from July 2019 - March 17, 2024 when the site was closed in adherence to the Mayor’s COVID 19 precautions.
Bayview Bistro Boxes
When the Bayview Bistro pop-up location closed, En2action immediately identified and set up a commercial kitchen for vendors to utilize to prepare packaged foods for sale. En2action created a website and an online ordering platform, developed marketing materials and a delivery service (utilizing folks laid off due to COVID). This allowed us to deliver delicious and nutritious food boxes to San Francisco, Daly City and Oakland neighborhoods.
